My husband has proudly served in the U.S. Army for over 18 years, with three deployments to Afghanistan. As a military family, we’ve lived across the world—from Bamberg, Germany, to Fort Bragg (NC), Fort Benning (GA), and Schofield Barracks in Hawai‘i. Now stationed at Camp Shelby, we’ve chosen to put down roots in Petal, Mississippi, where we’ve purchased our own home in the Sunrise community—a place we’re proud to call home and raise our two daughters, ages 16 and 4.
